Retreat/Food Prep. Asst. Manager Wanted A.S.A.P.

More than a Job - An Exciting Calling

We're seeking a person or couple to act as long-term live-in manager or to create a dynamic partnership in running a retreat and eco-centre with raw food emphasis. This is an opportunity to develop and partner in an existing business in wellness and eco promotion, and to live on and enjoy a gorgeous 100 acre country property one-hour from Canada's capital. Responsibilities include administration, marketing events and workshops (including your own?), hosting groups and individuals, and food preparation (we specialize in organic living vegetarian as well as traditional vegetarian cuisine).

Essential qualities:

  • Strong interest in promoting sustainable and healthy eco-living
  • Strong skills in vegetarian/living food preparation
  • Administrative and office skills

Beyond that we're looking for the best combination of these qualities:

  • Self-motivation
  • Financial management skills
  • Flexibility with wage, or salary (Option to reside at the retreat as part of compensation. Work hours and duties are negotiable.)
  • Bilingual (French and English) a plus
